Welcome to JoshJacob.com
This site is a showcase for the two major areas of my computer programming interest: Macs and the web.
Feel free to look around and ask questions. Here are a few things that may interest you:
- TNEF's Enough is a program I wrote to help Mac users deal with certain attachments from users of Microsoft Outlook and Exchange. The program is freeware so check it out if you ever receive weird attachments with the name "winmail.dat."
- Another project I'm working on is called Headers2Glossary. This is a configurable Perl script which takes Apple's Universal Interfaces (the C header files used in Mac programming) and creates glossaries (a kind of snippet collection) for use in the BBEdit text editor. Headers2Glossary is also a freeware project and one that I really encourage everyone to download, play with and give feedback on.
Take a look around. Explore the links in the different sections, check out the tips I've learned and download any of the programs or scripts I've written. I welcome input and suggestions regarding anything in this site.
